Dear soon to be “ local super hero”,

My name is Peter Beattie and I own an offline marketing business. I run this business from my living room coffee table…usually in pajamas. This business gives me the freedom to work wherever and whenever I want. I answer to NO ONE….ahh what a good feeling that is.

I literally make as much money as I want or am willing to work for…and I LOVE IT!

But it wasn't always this way… I used to work an INSANELY boring 40-50 hr per week desk job as an architectural designer earning a measly $17 /hr pay. I brought home about $400 per week and I barely made just enough money to get by and often wondered if this was all there was to my life?

I had always done a little bit of internet marketing since summer of 2006, but I never really took it seriously or considered it to be a reliable business model until I was practically forced to.

It was the summer of 2009 and the economy started it's so called “down turn”. Companies were laying employees off left and right, foreclosures were happening in record numbers and everyone was scared.

It wasn't long before this effected the architecture industry and people started getting laid off at the firm I worked at. I didn't get laid off right away but I did get my hours cut back from 40 to 32…a 20% cut in pay.

To make matters worse, 2 months prior I had just purchased my first home with my then girlfriend at the time and had a stack of new monthly bills I could no longer afford.

THEN, if things couldn't have gotten any worse…my girlfriend (yea, the one I just bought the house with) decided to leave me for a senior citizen around the same time all of this was happening.

So, not only was I making 20% less money…but I no longer had a second income in the household. It was just me…and man was I scared. I fell into a deep depression and didn't leave my house for days.

Until I realized that this was a blessing in disguise and was the perfect opportunity for me to re-design myself and my life. It was the perfect opportunity for me to fulfill the dream I had always thought was impossible…to quit my job, build an internet marketing business and work from home.

My plan was fast in motion. I scoured the Warrior Forum in search for the way. Offline marketing was all the rage (still is) and it seemed like everyone was making tons of money by creating websites and doing internet marketing for local businesses.

So, I started a web design business and got my very first client within the first 2 weeks or so. I charged him $1,500 for a custom website design and he paid me $500 of that right up front.

That was my first customer and the very first “dollar” I ever made in my business. Thankfully, I snapped a picture of that $500 check with my LG Shine cell phone…

 

I went on to design many custom websites for local businesses over the course of the next few months. I thought everything was going great…little did I know that I would soon run out of money because I was going about this business the entirely WRONG WAY.

I was putting a cap on my income because I was spending way too much time designing custom websites for local business owners. I don't care what anyone tells you. Custom website design is A LOT of work if you don't do it right. Local business owners are some of the pickiest people in this world and they NEVER know what they want…but they want it NOW. (most..not all)

So naturally, I found myself spending most of my time fixing, changing and editing my clients websites on a CONTINUOUS basis. I couldn't take on any new work until my current clients were happy with their websites…which is practically NEVER.

(I now call this vicious cycle “The Circle of Death”…which I now avoid at all costs!)

So, one night while laying in bed and almost out of money…I started to worry about what would happen if I ran out of money? How would my mortgage get paid?

I needed a plan FAST…or I'd be back to bugging my old boss for my pitiful job back…I WAS NOT going to do that. I laid in bed for about 2 hrs and could not come up with anything revolutionary…then all of a sudden it hit me like a ton of bricks…

I literally jumped out of bed and designed a brand new business model that would allow me to catapult my failing business back into massive profits in less time.

That business model involves Flipping ready made website to local business owners and setting them up to pay me every single month over and over again to host the website and keep it online.

Then I would up sell them on various other higher priced services…building the ultimate offline profit funnel.
